ABOUT LORENA . . .

Born with Passion for the Performing Arts!

I am a Hispanic multi-ethnic film and stage actress, voice-over artist, acting coach, and writer based in New York City.

Born and raised in Mexico City, I am fully bilingual. After graduating from Universidad Anáhuac México, I moved to the United States due to my husband’s work, where I embraced my new home and became a proud U.S. citizen.

My artistic journey began in childhood, performing in musicals and dramas and training in jazz dance for over ten years. I later pursued a career in marketing and advertising, alongside the transformative experience of becoming a mother.

My lifelong dream of becoming a professional actor never faded, and a few years ago I made the decision to change careers, taking a leap of faith into the entertainment industry. Since then, I have trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting NYC, The Barrow Group, and through numerous acting workshops and classes.

My multicultural life experiences allow me to approach each character organically, grounded in what matters most to me… Authenticity.

Most recently, I began working as an Assistant Director on a comedy scheduled for a New York City run this spring, further expanding my creative work behind the scenes.

When I’m not on set or on stage, I work as an acting coach, mentoring young performers and guiding their parents as they navigate the industry. I also spend time writing stories, articles, and screenplays.

I have coached two of my children who share my passion for the performing arts. My oldest daughter is a NYU Tisch alumna, and my youngest son works professionally in modeling, commercials, and television, including a recurring guest role on a Nickelodeon series and film.

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams, but dreams only become true for those who head in their direction with self confidence, authenticity, determination, effort, passion & love”’
